In this 3-month online course you will learn the ancient art and science of Vedic Astrology and how to use it in reading your own birth chart. You will learn how planets and their movement impact your life since the moment you were born.

Vedic Astrology in Sanskrit is called Jyotish and is known in India as the Science of Light. Symbolically, it means light as the divine principle of life, because when there is no light there is no life. But Jyotish is mostly about finding this inner light within us which can guide us towards our true selves. This foundation course will introduce you to the vastness of this incredible knowledge, taking you deep into your own personal birth chart, peeling off layers and layers, showing WHO YOU ARE.

Please note that this is a Vedic Astrology course (NOT Western Astrology) and it goes way beyond the common ‘Star sign’ or ‘Horoscope’ understanding. Vedic Astrology is the oldest astrological system in the world and is based on a deep rooted Vedic tradition. It has the ability to unravel not only your personality characteristics, but your lifetime imprint, your soul purpose, your karmic path, your past, present and your future. It is truly one of the richest and most precise systems in the world gifted to humans. 

MODULE 1 – BUILDING BLOCKS OF JYOTISH – SEPTEMBER

1. History & Philosophy of Vedic Astrology

2. Planets – 9 rulers of life

3. Zodiac signs – 12 cosmic characters

4. Houses – 12 areas of life

5. Key principles of the Vedic birth chart reading

6. Group work: Basic interpretation of personal charts

Pre-requisite: No prior knowledge required

MODULE 2 – PRICELESS GEMS OF JYOTISH – OCTOBER

1. Yogas & doshas – special planetary combinations

2. Atmakaraka – your Soul Planet & its lessons

3. Moon – lunar phases & planning your month

4. Nakshatras – secrets of your Birth Star

5. Rules of interpretation in the Vedic birth chart reading

6. Group work: Basic interpretation of personal charts

Pre-requisite: Completion of the Module 1

MODULE 3 – PREDICTION TOOLS OF JYOTISH – NOVEMBER

1. Dasha system – timing your destiny

2. Transits – planetary movement & impact on our lives

3. Rahu Ketu – karmic nodes, causers of the eclipses

4. Remedies – cosmic medicine to ease our karmas

5. Prediction techniques in the Vedic birth chart reading

6. Group work: Basic interpretation of personal charts

Pre-requisite: Completion of the Module 2

REQUIREMENT:

· You need to know the exact time of your birth

· This is essential to be able to create your precise birth chart

COURSE STRUCTURE:

· All classes will take place live online at the given timings

· If you miss the online class, no worries, you will have access to the online recording

· After every class you will receive your reading/ homework materials sent by email

· You will have to study and read on your own in between the classes

· There will be weekly homework tasks as well as an exam after each module
